If it doesn’t exist, I build it.

The Beta Lab is where I turn ideas into working software. Not prototypes. Products with paying customers.

Built here

The Bell

A CRM for small B2B sales teams, built around how people actually sell. Email sync, sequences, and AI that turns free text into clean CRM data. Live, with paying customers.

FridgeAI

Tell it what’s in your fridge, and it tells you what to cook. Less food waste, fewer “what’s for dinner” moments. Live, with paying customers.

These existed only as ideas in my head. Then I built them. What’s in yours?

Your idea, built.

What I build:

  • Internal tools your team actually needs, and no off-the-shelf product does quite right
  • MVPs that test a business idea with real users before you commit to a full development team

What I don’t build:

  • Websites
  • Automations inside your own systems. I build in my own secured environment, so your systems and their risk stay under your control.

After the build, you choose:

  • You own it: you get the code and full ownership.
  • I run it: I host and maintain it for a monthly fee.

Why a commercial leader who builds

Most developers build what you specify. I’ve spent my whole career on the business side, so I start with the questions that decide whether anything gets used at all: who uses it, what decision it supports, and what happens if it doesn’t exist.

How it works

  1. Talk: you describe the idea. I ask the uncomfortable questions.
  2. Scope: we agree what gets built, what doesn’t, and the price.
  3. Build: you see working versions early, not a big reveal at the end.
  4. Hand over or host: your code, or my hosting.

Builds are priced on my day rate, from €1,150 + VAT. Hosting fee on request.
